It can be difficult to be patient. Keeping the faith and having hope that things will be ok/work out/improve, is hard. But nature shows us that constantly. Year after challenging year. Spring after freeze. Determination after drought. Regrowth after disaster.

Change doesn’t happen overnight. Growth and especially regrowth takes time. That’s why faith requires patience …. and hope that current circumstances aren’t forever. Working and stretching towards the light, even if it’s still dark. It asks us to keep a big picture in perspective as we toil through the daily details; knowing that the final growth will be well worth it.

We can find hope and inspiration in nature. That’s why it’s so important to learn from it, live respectfully with it and protect it. Then we’ll see some more of that hope and resilience and regrowth in ourselves too.
